CFB Shilo is a hive of activity throughout the year, with activities offered by PSP’s Fitness, Sports and Recreation department, or Shilo’s MFRC. There are also events in the Base’s hinterland, from Douglas to Sprucewoods, as well as Wawanesa and Carberry. Shilo MFRC hosting its annual Dinner’s On Us event July 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. outside of the MFRC’s venue across from the water park.
CANEX has its annual CF1 Day – Fountain Tire barbecue, bouncy castle for kids, lots of treats from CANEX vendors 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
