Team Senior NCOs took back the Shilo Floor Hockey Cup with a close winning score against Team Officers of 3-2 in the annual Shilo Floor Hockey Tournament on Dec. 11.

The morning of floor hockey at the GSH saw a combination of three games in the round robin internal championships.

The first game of the day heralded a win of 7-1 for the Senior NCOs against the Junior Non-Commissioned Members (NCMs). The second game ended in a close shootout between Team Officers and Team Jnr. NCMs with a score favouring the younger members to of 4-3.

Regimental Sergeant Major Chief Warrant Officer Eric LeClair said he was pleased to take the cup back from the officer’s team after last year handing it over to CFB Shilo Base Commander Lieutenant-Colonel David Cronk’s team.

“The Base Commander can come into my office anytime to look at it on my desk,” the RSM jested at the trophy acceptance ceremony after the games.
