Sgt Caroline Brooks and Cpl Derek Picklyk were among four local military members who competed in a two-day Fittest in Manitoba at CROSSFIT AUCTUS in Winnipeg.

They were joined by WO David Valentine and Sgt Victor Law.

After two long, gruelling days of fitness — six challenging events — Cpl Picklyk finished first in the intermediate men’s division, while Sgt Brooks finished second in the 40-plus intermediate masters women division.

“Everyone did very well, and we are extremely proud of our efforts,” said Sgt Brooks, who works at MPSS at Base HQ.
