In a heartwarming display of international camaraderie and friendly competition, members of 1RCHA and Minnesota Warriors-St Cloud came together for a weekend of bonding, which featured golf and hockey.
This unique gathering over two days starting July 8 was aimed at strengthening the brotherhood between these two military and veteran communities — fostering a sense of unity and shared experiences.
The gathering of these two groups started with a day of relaxation and friendly rivalry on the golf course.
The members of 1RCHA and the Minnesota Warriors-St Cloud hit the greens for a day of golfing at the Bel Acres golf course in Winnipeg. The picturesque surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for building connections and enjoying some friendly competition.
The golf day also served as a catalyst for conversation, laughter and the sharing of stories — allowing participants to bond over their military experiences and mutual understanding.
The teams from both sides showcased their golfing skills, engaging in good-natured banter and demonstrating their competitive spirit. The camaraderie fostered on the golf course laid the groundwork for an exciting and spirited hockey match to come the following day.

The much-anticipated hockey game July 9 took place between 1RCHA and the Minnesota Warriors-St Cloud was played amidst a small contingent of cheering spectators, with the Canadians and Americans battling it out on the ice with intense fervour.
