A group of CFB Shilo youth made good use out of their summer gardening efforts offering up their produce at a lemonade and veggie stand on Aug. 9. The group were selling potatoes, crab apples, tomatoes, lemonade and ice tea. The produce was a result of back yard gardening started in May. The group said they were happy to have made more than $20 on Friday, as the day before they didn’t make any profit. They hope CFB Shilo residents and civilians keep an eye out for their signs on the corners of Ubique and Royal.   (Photo: K-J Millar/Shilo Stag.)
