Real Property Operations Unit (W) – Det Shilo and CFHA HSC Shilo are looking for occupants interested in collecting and composting food waste as part of a composting pilot project.

Participation in the program is free and voluntary.

Bins will arrive at CFB Shilo soon and we are hoping to have people start using them during the winter months.

During the warm weather months there will be curbside pickup available for all participants.

The number of available bins will be limited in the pilot program. If we get more interest than available bins we will keep your name on a waitlist until further bins are received.

Further information will be made available when you pick up your compost bin, including what items you can and cannot add to the compost bins.
