While preparing for Op REASSURANCE and deployment to Latvia in December, B Bty soldiers from 1RCHA conducted a danger close mission as part of Ex PATRICIA WOLVERINE at 3 Cdn Div Support Base Det Wainwright training area. These same soldiers also participated in a live fire mission as a part of Ex SWARMING BEE, under the leadership of Battery BC Maj Craig Skelsay. B Bty soldiers also received an airlift from a CH-146 Griffon from 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron out of Garrison Edmonton during this training exercise to prepare them for their overseas deployment to replace A ‘The Queen’s’ Bty.
