It was a frigid morning for those who gathered on the south lawn of Base HQ for the pipe ceremony to consecrate the permanent tipi, with Elder Frank Tacan leading the ceremony with help from 2PPCLI QMSI MWO Sheldon Quinn and Sgt Sylvan Leblanc, who acted as emcee plus drummed and sang.
