

2PPCLI A/CO Maj Chris Hartwick dropped the opening faceoff puck, when the Brandon Wheat Kings hosted the visiting Red Deer Rebels for an WHL afternoon tilt on Remembrance Day at Westoba Place. Shilo minor hockey players wore their jerseys to the game, among a thousand young hockey players who took in the game. A Shilo player had an opportunity to be the Seventh Player during warm-up, and the announcement of the Wheaties starting line-up. Struggling to win on home ice, Brandon was up against one of the best teams in the WHL’s west division.
