It was a hive of activity at L25 during Shilo MFRC and sponsors Welcome to Shilo — Military Family Appreciation Day event. BMO’s mascot was popular among the many kids in attendance, after they’d enjoyed their dinner. There was music provided by Clubbing Fraggles, while LAV rides were provided by 2PPCLI. 3CDSG GSM CWO Patrice Chartrand checked out 2PPCLI’s weapons table, while array of local businesses had display tables to showcase what they had to offer, especially for those who arrived on Base during the summer ’22 posting season. BComd LCol Chris Wood and BRSM invited over visiting 3CDSG Comd Col Robert McBride and CWO Chartrand following their busy day on the Base visiting different units to hand out honours and awards.
