Are you planning New Year’s Eve celebrations off-Base to welcome the advent of 2023?

If so, Brandon Transit is offering free bus rides if you are attending parties in the nearby community.

From 6 p.m. Dec. 31 to 3 a.m. Jan. 1, Brandon Transit will run its buses on a regular modified (hourly) service. During those hours, it will be free to ride Brandon Transit and Brandon Access Transit.

“Brandon Transit is excited to be able to offer this free service once again to those in our community whose festivities take them out and about on New Year’s Eve,” said Brandon Transit manager Courtney Arndt. “We are pleased to partner with local businesses to provide this service to the residents of Brandon.”

As many celebrations in the community west of the Base are on the go, Brandon Transit makes it easy to plan your ride right from your mobile device with the Google Transit Web Service.
