“Inspired” is the name and premise on which a new staff, volunteer and community partner recognition program is growing, Rob Lavin, executive director of the CFB Shilo Military Family Resources Centre (MFRC), said on Nov. 13 when announcing the unique initiative.

Lavin said the venture is an opportunity for Shilo staff and community members to acknowledge other staff and volunteers with connections to the MFRC for doing a “job well done.”

He said the program took several months to develop and implement, and an overseeing committee reviews the nominations. Once a candidate has been assessed, their profile will be placed on the “Inspired” board at the MFRC.

New “inspirations” will be updated quarterly, and nomination forms will be available online shortly, he said.

“We’re always looking for unique ways to retain and recognize volunteers and community members. We are encouraging everyone to submit nominations so others can be recognized for their great deeds.”

“Help us fill the board with “Inspirations,” the executive director said.
