3 Div TC C Coy Det Shilo instructor MCpl Mitchell Alma. had his camera at the ready while deployed to the CFB Shilo Range Training Area (RTA) with the Infantry Section Commanders Course (ISCC). While young officers involved in the course during a night exercise, all involved were exposed to the dancing Northern Lights. MCpl Kornelsen used the soldiers out on the snowy Manitoba prairies to compose them with the distant Northern Lights. OC Maj Melissa Marshall submitted the photographs to the Stag to showcase her military students on the ISCC during a night exercise, with the Northern Lights only enhancing the memorable evening activities under frigid spring conditions.
