Stag editor Jules Xavier spent the past few weeks focused on Halloween decorations being put up by enthusiasts who enjoy this annual fall event. And a few days before trick or treat happened Oct. 31, he drove around the Base to do video and take photos of the most decorated homes — see the Stag’s Facebook page — under cover of darkness. It looks so different after dusk, which is what parents and their kids observed as they started visiting homes for treats around 5:30 p.m. BComd LCol Chris Wood and wife Lisa greeted their visitors with large chocolate bars and other sweet treats, while across the way on Royal Avenue, 1RCHA CO LCol Joe O’Donnell worked the front porch giving out goodies to his visitors.
