Come one, come all to the CFB Shilo Spring Military Ball!

Canadian Forces Base Shilo Command team is polishing the silverware, brushing up on etiquette and stepping up the dancing moves for hosting a fantasmagorical spring cotillion on April 27.

Base Commander Lieutenant-Colonel David Cronk said to save the date, as the formal black-tie and ball gown-attired occasion is open to all Shilo-based military personnel, DND civilians, spouses and guests.

Ticket prices are set, making the formal extravaganza affordable, with the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) providing childcare on Base for the evening if booked in advance, as spaces are limited.

The Victoria Inn in Brandon will provide a five-course banquet meal for the occasion, dancing and preferred pricing rooms available for booking so the evening is complete.

Everything, including transportation, has been considered, with the Shilo Shuttle providing services from the Base to the function location and back.

The much anticipated evening will provide a professional photographer, live music, DJ and other entertainment.

Tickets will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis in the new year with rank-based tiered pricing as follows:
Pte/Cpl/MCpl/2Lts/Lt, $10
Sgt/WO/MWO/Capt, $20
CWO/Maj, $30
LCol and above, $40
Non-military spouses or significant others/civilian guests, $50
Eg. Pte + Spouse: $60; Service Couple: Sgt + WO: $40; Civilian +Civilian $100
