The RCA Museum is proud to present In the Service of Peace: Canada’s Peacekeepers. This exhibit traces the history of Canadian peacekeeping by telling the stories of individual soldiers. This year marks both the 75th anniversary of the first United Nations peacekeeping operation, as well as the 35th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to UN Peacekeepers.

MPs replaced Crown Victoria Interceptor in 2013 with Ford sedan, utility models

New police vehicles you see driving around CFB Shilo arrived here in 2013. After six years of service the Crown Victoria Interceptor model cars were retired that year. The Crown Victoria was the police vehicle of choice for most North American police agencies until 2011, when the last vehicle came off Ford’s production line — 19 years after the first vehicle was delivered to a police agency.
